Universal Lock & Security Service Inc (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) sells physical lock products, security hardware, and related accessories, with optional professional installation services. By placing an order, you agree to the following legally binding Terms of Sale.


1. Business Model Disclosure

We sell physical lock and security products.
We may also provide optional installation services for purchased products.

We do not sell subscription services.
We do not engage in negative option billing.

All prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD).


2. Order Acceptance & Payment Authorization

• Orders are subject to payment authorization and fraud screening.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order suspected of fraud or unauthorized activity.
• Customers must provide accurate billing and contact information.

A confirmation email will be sent once payment is successfully processed.


3. Shipping & Delivery Policy

• Orders are processed within standard business days (Monday–Friday).
• Estimated delivery timelines are provided at checkout.
• Shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, or force majeure events are outside our control.
• Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the carrier.

Customers must report damaged shipments within 48 hours of delivery.


4. Installation Services (If Selected)

• Installation fees are separate from product cost.
• Installation appointments require customer confirmation.
• Labor charges are non-refundable once installation has been completed.
• Customer must provide safe and lawful access to the property.

If installation cannot be completed due to unsafe conditions or misrepresentation, a service fee may apply.


5. Return Policy

We accept returns under the following conditions:

Eligible Returns:

• Requested within 14 days of delivery
• Product is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
• Proof of purchase is provided

Non-Returnable Items:

• Installed products
• Custom-configured or special-order items
• Clearance or final sale items
• Damaged products due to customer misuse

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the error was ours.


6. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
• Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was caused by us

We do not issue cash refunds for card transactions.


7. Damaged or Defective Products

If a product arrives damaged or defective:

• Customer must notify us within 48 hours
• Clear photos and order details are required
• We will offer replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion

Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable.


8. Cancellation Policy

Before Shipment:

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund prior to shipment.

After Shipment:

Orders must follow the standard return process.

Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production or processing begins.


9. Chargeback & Dispute Policy

By placing an order, you agree to contact us first to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback.

We maintain documentation including:

• Order confirmation
• Payment authorization records
• IP address verification (for online orders)
• Delivery confirmation
• Installation confirmation (if applicable)

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks will be disputed with supporting documentation and may be reported as fraudulent activity.


10. Fraud Prevention Policy

We reserve the right to:

• Request identity verification
• Cancel high-risk transactions
• Refuse service where fraud is suspected

Orders flagged by fraud detection systems may be delayed or cancelled.


11. Limitation of Liability

Universal Lock & Security Service Inc shall not be liable for:

• Improper self-installation
• Security breaches caused by misuse
• Pre-existing door or frame conditions
• Indirect or consequential damages

Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service.


12. Privacy & Data Protection

We comply with applicable U.S. privacy regulations including:

• FTC consumer protection standards
• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where applicable

Customer data is used solely for:

• Payment processing
• Order fulfillment
• Fraud prevention
• Customer support

We do not sell customer personal information.


13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Company operates.

Disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
